Conference announcement- MODSIM World 2009

Post by Ozge Karanfil » Fri Aug 28, 2009 12:30 pm

Dear HPSIG members ,

I thought some of you might be interested in the following conference. I apologize for the short notice. Please contact Thomas Pinelli thomas.e.pinelli@nasa.gov directly with any questions, who is the chair of the technical program for MODSIM World 2009 Conference & Expo, or Reba M. Childress reba@virginia.edu, the chair of the Health and Medicine Track of the conference.

---------------------------------------------------
MODSIM World 2009 takes place October 14-16, 2009, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach, VA. The conference & expo is (1) international in scope; (2) "theory-based practice" in its orientation; (3) interdisciplinary; and (4) organized around seven tracks -- Education & Training, Defense & Homeland Security, Engineering & Science, Health & Medicine, the Human Dimension (Modeling Human Behaviors & Interactions), Serious Games, and Transportation & Logistics. More information about this unique conference & expo is available at http://www.modsimworld2009.com/ . We broadly define MODSIM to include, among other things, systems thinking and systems dynamics. While we do not have a ST/SD track this year, we're considering the addition of one for the 2010 conference.
…………….

Thom Pinelli

Chair of the Technical Program
MODSIM World 2009
