System Dynamics is a well established discipline with over 50 years of illustrious history, and it's not over yet. WikiSD should be a place where individuals both within and outside the community are able to find informative and useful information relating to Systems Thinking and System Dynamics.

Here are some initial thoughts:

  • Articles, Recent: Articles relating to System Dynamics are being published in numerous journals, and most difficult to keep up with. There should be a running list of newly published articles to inform others of their existence. These should probably be classified in the same manner as Content listed below.
  • Background, Individual: Individuals working in the discipline should provide a short piece introducing themselves, provide aspects of System Dynamics they are involved in and links to some of the their current efforts.
  • Content: Content should be provided on multiple levels, and labeled, to be interesting and informative to:
    • Individuals interested in becoming more familiar with the concepts (Intro)
    • Individuals who have been studying the disipline for a short time and wish to go a bit deeper (Inter)
    • Individuals who are already pretty deep into it and are interested in advancing the state of the discipline (Adv)
  • Models: Models might be provided on several levels, similar to the content levels listed above, and should probably exist in at least two categories:
    • Models which are under development for visitors to interact with and develop as possible
    • Models which are essentially completed, with copyright and license rights retained by the author. These should probably be on protected pages.
