2020 Conference Threads
Our annual conference invites papers presenting quantitative and rigorous qualitative work on dynamic problems emphasizing feedback structure and the manner in which it generates behavior. System Dynamics is, by its nature, cross-disciplinary but the classification of papers into threads, some methods-based and some systems-based, improves conference session organization. Within each thread, we welcome different analytic and computational approaches beyond stock and flow modeling, including discrete representations such as agent-based modeling with a focus on system behavior.
Submissions are welcomed on all topics pertaining to System Dynamics. During paper submission, authors are asked to select a primary and secondary thread from the following list. At the conference, presentations will be grouped into sessions by these threads and other themes.
