Driving Industry Value Chain and Business Innovation Ecosystem

The Taiwan Chapter of the System Dynamics Society presents a seminar series on System Dynamics and Applications on Sustainable System Development.  We aim to bring more Chinese speaking SD educators and learners together with this seminar series and share more recent developments from Taiwan Chapter.

Abstract

This session presents real world case studies on System Dynamics Applications and Sustainable System Development, with one of the largest industry value chain and business innovation ecosystem in Taiwan, specifically from practitioners’ point of view.  Experiences on setting policies for more than 1,700 companies in the industrial parks and the business dynamics during COVID-19 pandemic are also addressed in the case studies.

Led by Prof. Min-Ren Yan with the forward-looking insights on the global economy from United Nations Development Program and Asian Productivity Organization, iiLABs and Taiwan Chapter of the System Dynamics Society have periodically published research paper series and books on sustainable system development (SSD) and System Dynamics applications of cloud computing supported management science in an attempt to provide suggestions and recommendations for new or innovative business models.  In response to the government’s action plan and policies to improve the performance of domestic corporations and businesses sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, iiLABs provides counseling for Innovation Economy and sustainable system development.

本次講座分享iiLABs產業創新研究院以聯合國開發計劃署、MIT系統動態學門及日本亞洲生產力組織等國際產學研機構，對全球經濟前瞻見解之整合，以及永續系統發展論(SSD)之企業實務個案研析方法，為創新商業模式提供建議及解決方案。為響應政府政策以提高經濟部轄下的企業績效。iiLABs致力協助產業創新經濟與實踐，協助輔導產業園區近1,700家企業的動態營運管理績效提升計畫。

本次研討以產業價值鏈整合及連鎖餐飲集團為案例，探討個案公司如何在動態產業環境中選擇適當因應策略以支持未來發展。運用策略動態學與電腦模擬分析技術，建立可適用於餐飲業動態經營管理之電腦管理飛行模擬器。將個案相關營運、行銷等資料結合動態數據分析進行策略模擬，並研析不同策略規劃方案之未來情境與可能效益評估。並適時調整營運策略以因應市場環境變化，企業將更具可持續成長之競爭力。
