Degree Courses
There are no formal coursework degree programs in System Dynamics offered in the region. Many students looking for Masters-level system dynamics training travel overseas. However, there are many units/courses within coursework degrees that students can take. The Society maintains a database of courses that contain system dynamics and/or systems thinking approaches. If you would like to add a course and help to build awareness of SD/ST in the region, please add your course there.
Many doctoral and research students find themselves looking for methodology to apply to a complex problem. System dynamics is a great structured methodology to build qualitative and quantitative models and gain novel insights from. The Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) System Dynamics Foundations is now available on-demand online! This is a classic introductory course in System Dynamics that was taken by hundreds of WPI students from the different degree and professional programs since 2005. This course will be self-led and self-paced without guidance from an instructor.
