Companies around the world, like HSBC Bank, have used En-Roads and the Climate Workshop as a strategy tool and to build awareness about sustainability and the company sustainability strategy. How does the game work? The game is conducted as a simulated emergency climate summit organized by the United Nations to establish a concrete plan to limit global warming by bringing together government, business, and civil society representatives. Participants take on the role of energy industry leaders, climate activists, heads of state, agricultural workers, and more. As a group, they negotiate and propose climate solutions to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius.
