Networking Series: February Practitioner Networking

This practitioner networking session is a space for people in the society who are consulting with external clients using systems thinking or system dynamics. A speaker will present on a topic they’ve been working on, some challenge they’re having, and potential solutions they’ve explored. The second half of the call will be for attendees to ask questions, offer suggestions, and provide feedback. Anyone can sign up to share!

In this session: “Organizing Revealed Expert Knowledge: Are There Best Practices?” Warren Farr from DynamicVu will describe the issue of organizing all of the “artifacts” that are gathered during a model building project. He will mention some of the things that he does as “best practices” and will open the floor to other practitoners to add what others do to manage these issues.

You’ll have the chance to really connect! Join us to:

  • Get to know people in the field
  • Explore different perspectives
  • Learn about System Dynamics projects
  • Share your experience
  • Build relationships

Visit the Practitioner’s page for more resources.

Volunteer Sprint

Are you interested in volunteering for the Society? Meet other volunteers and network, while helping out with a Society project! We need help rating the models in our model repository. Volunteers with any range of System Dynamics knowledge are welcome. Towards the end of the event, we’ll have a chance to network and connect you with other Society volunteer opportunities you may be interested in.

If you haven’t yet filled out the Society Volunteer form, please complete it here and RSVP to this event.

We greatly appreciate our volunteers’ support for the Society’s initiatives. We look forward to connecting with you!
