| Developing the National Model. The project just started. The prototype model focuses on population growth (and the aging of the population), industrial trends, and the employment problem from 1996 to 2005. We are planning to expand the model to include such sectors as energy, environment, and SNA, and expect the first presentation of the model to be at the 1997 conference.
| Publishing "System Dynamics (Japanese)" Number 2. This will be a special issue describing progress on the National Model through the end of 1996.
| Translation of the Beer Game. The final Japanese version is finished and ready for distribution.
