Participate in the upcoming EUROCAST – Computer-Aided Systems Theory – meeting to be held 20-25 February 2022, as always, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
The congress offers 12 workshops embracing topics like Systems theory, Model-based Systems Design, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Image Processing.
The topic of the workshop we are organizing is “Systems Thinking: Its Relevance for Professionals in Technology, Science and Management”. The general purpose is to bring together works about the role of systems thinking in today’s socio-technical systems, especially organizations. In particular, the question of the role of the systems approach will be explored: Can professionals make a difference by thinking and acting systemically, e.g., in coping with complexity? How does the systems approach differ from traditional approaches? The synthesis of systems thinking and science/technology/management promises a large step ahead in coping with future challenges.
As stream organizers, we would very much appreciate your participation. We are also grateful if you forward this invitation to other people in your network.
Contributions from the fields of organization and management, human resources development, technology and science are welcome. So are works on the methodology of systemic thinking.
An attractive feature of this conference is that all accepted papers are published in full text and print by Springer-Verlag after the conference. Last but not least, the productive yet friendly atmosphere at EUROCAST meetings and in particular the beauty of the venue, Gran Canaria, make this event unique.
If you intend to join us, please send an extended two pages abstract, (including references in English), no later than November 15, 2021, with the Abstract Submission Form, which you find under: https://eurocast2022.fulp.ulpgc.es/participation
We hope that you will be with us at the EUROCAST conference in Las Palmas and look forward to a fertile co-operation
