Conference Special Activities

The International System Dynamics Conference (ISDC) offers opportunities to connect with a worldwide community and develop skills. Learn more about our activities held during the event.

Summer School

Your System Dynamics learning journey starts here

Held online two weeks before the conference, it provides a unique opportunity to learn or review concepts. Seasoned instructors provide in-depth knowledge in this intensive course covering key aspects of System Dynamics simulation modeling. Introductory and intermediate tracks are available to suit different learning levels.

Career Fair

Level-up your career. Meet the best organizations in the field

A great opportunity to get in touch with organizations applying System Dynamics. Meet with hiring managers, learn about open positions, and share your resumé. Last year, we had the presence of Harvard University, Climate Interactive, Radboud University, Sandia National Laboratories, and others.

Student-Organized Colloquium

Organized by students, open to all

A one-day FREE event organized by the Student Chapter of the System Dynamics Society held on the first day of the Conference. It promotes dialogue among system dynamicists of varying fields, levels of training, and backgrounds and creates spaces to have meaningful conversations about the topics that we all care about so that everyone can share and receive feedback to improve their work.

Modeling Assistance Workshop

Get help with your model

Participants of all modeling backgrounds, from beginners to advanced, are welcome to ask questions related to problem articulation, dynamic hypothesis, model formulation, model testing, or policy design and evaluation.

Chairs: Rod MacDonald and Gary Hirsch
